This website is operated by Sampedro (Empresa Industrial Sampedro S.A.), a legal entity with Tax ID (NIF) 500096724, with registered office at Rua de São Pedro, 227, 4815 - 176 Lordelo, Guimarães – Portugal, hereinafter referred to simply as "Sampedro". Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Sampedro. Sampedro offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
Sampedro's service consists of providing and supplying textile products (Bed, Table, and Bath) intended for hospitality, local accommodation, and domestic use, with the aim of allowing the user, to whom the condition of customer is attributed, to place orders and purchase the presented products online. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink.
The use of the store implies full acceptance and agreement with all parameters present in these Terms and Conditions. Therefore, if you do not accept, partially or fully, any of the stipulated conditions, you should not make purchases nor use the website. SECTION 5 — PRODUCTS OR SERVICES Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy. In accordance with Decree-Law no. 84/2021, all products sold benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity period of 3 years from the date of delivery of the good. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. In the event that a product becomes unavailable after the purchase has been concluded, Sampedro commits to contacting the customer, via telephone or email, as soon as possible to expedite an exchange or refund process.
SECTION 6 — ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store, including your Tax ID (NIF) for billing purposes.
SECTION 7 — OPTIONAL TOOLS We may provide you with access to third-party tools, applications, plugins, or extensions developed by external entities, such as VAT validation systems, support chats, or review applications, over which we neither monitor nor have any control or technical input. You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools ”as is” and “as available” without any warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. Sampedro shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to failures, errors, or malfunctions of these third-party tools.

Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy.
SECTION 9 — USER COMMENTS, FEEDBACK AND OTHER SUBMISSIONS If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions or without a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials (collectively, 'comments'), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us.

We reserve the right to correct any errors and to cancel orders if any information in the Service is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). If the order has already been paid for, the amount will be fully refunded.

SECTION 13 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Except in cases provided for by Portuguese Law (damages resulting from intent or gross negligence, or death/personal injury), Sampedro shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind. Nothing in these terms affects the mandatory legal rights of the consumer under Portuguese legislation (including the right to warranty and right of withdrawal).
SECTION 14 — INDEMNIFICATION You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sampedro and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.
SECTION 15 — SEVERABILITY In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
SECTION 16 — ENTIRE AGREEMENT The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
SECTION 17 — RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (EXCHANGES AND RETURNS) Pursuant to Article 10 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, the customer has the right to resolve the contract without incurring any costs (other than the cost of returning the good) and without the need to indicate the reason, within 14 days from the day on which they acquire physical possession of the goods. To exercise this right, you must communicate your decision to us via the contact email. If the returned item is part of a bundle or includes a promotional offer, the return will only be accepted if all components and offers are returned in their original conditions. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal: Under the law, we do not accept the return of sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery (e.g., bed linen, towels, or pillows that have been removed from the original sealed packaging or show signs of use).
SECTION 18 — GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Laws of Portugal. SECTION 21 — PAYMENT METHODS We accept the following payment methods for order processing: MB WAY, Multibanco, Payshop, Credit/Debit Card, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. All transactions are processed through secure and encrypted external payment gateways. Sampedro does not store, at any time, your complete credit card data or banking information on our servers. The validation and authorization of the payment depend on the issuing entity; if it refuses authorization, the order will not be processed. We reserve the right to cancel any transaction flagged by our security systems as potentially fraudulent.
